About me

My name is Surya Thaliyath and I was born on the 20th of August in Basel (Switzerland). From an early age I showed interest in dancing and I started to take lesson after I turned four in the “Kalanikethan Dance School” in Basel. As the student of Mrs. Bhavani Sridharan I had the best possibility to develop my skills in classical, folk and cinematic dancing. From the age of five I started to perform on the stage.

My ambition:

Of course I am eager to improve my dancing skills and to take part in further competitions. This is why I started learning “Mohiniyattam” under the guidance of my dance teacher Mrs Bhanavani  Sridharan. Though I spend a lot of time on dancing, I also give great importance to my studies.

Dedication:

I want to say my sincere thanks to my dance teacher Mrs.Bhavani Sridharan and my beloved parents, Reena and Sunil Thaliyath, from whom I always get support and encouragement.
